A note from Mrs. Bone, M.Ed.:
My name is Andria Bone, and I am excited to be the new Principal at Maypearl Middle School.
I attended Texas A&M University in Commerce, earning a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in 2008 and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in Special Education in 2015. My certifications include Math 4-8, EC-6 Generalist, 4-8 Generalist, EC-12 Special Education, and EC-12 Principal as an Instructional Leader.
I began my teaching career in 2009 as a mathematics teacher for Maypearl ISD. I then served as the math intervention specialist for Howard Junior High School in Waxahachie ISD. In 2018, I joined the inaugural staff of WISD’s newly formed Coleman Junior High School as the Special Education Department Head and Learning Lab teacher.
My husband, Jesse, and I have been married for 21 years and are the proud parents of three wonderful kids, Kendall, Dalton, & Gavin. Kendall and husband Devon Lopez blessed us with our first grandchild, Christopher, in February of 2020.
I have found that I have a passion for working with children to reach their maximum learning capacity. I enjoy providing a safe and warm learning environment for each student. Every student has the ability to learn and I strive to help them achieve this realization.
I am thrilled to be back home with my Panther Family!
